Here's a painting of an Edmontosaurus (a real dinosaur) that I did for my Design illustration class. The idea was to have them shrunk down to stamp size and still be legible, which is why there is pretty much no background. Also we were experimenting with classic lighting.
One other personal experiment i've always wanted to try was to do a picture using mostly just Marker Stippling. I had to cheat a bit and add a yellow and a bit of cyan to the background like a regular marker to have a nice starting base. I hope you like it. |
